Top and Bottom three teams EPL Prediction

As the season begins, we take a look at the teams that have what it takes to make it all the way and those that wouldn't. Our panel of pundits have made their predictions for the top three and bottom three in the English Premier League this season. What do you think?????

Tosman's Predictions
Premier League - Manchester city
I hope I am proven wrong but I think Man City will win the title. They signed more players to add to what they already have though in my opinion the players they bought won't add much to what they have because they signed average players but they are best equipped to win the league. They have two players in every position which makes them much stronger. I expect Man Utd and Chelsea to fight City till the end especially with the summer signings of Van persie and Kagawa for United and Hazard, Oscar and Moses for chelsea. As I said earlier, I hope am proven wrong and maybe the title can go to the red side of Manchester.

Relegation - Reading
They did well to return to the premier league but they look most likely to return back to where they came from. They have one or two players with premier league experience in Jason Roberts, Nicky Shorey and Pavel Pogrebnyak. I think the rest of the team is made up of players who are made for the championship

Relegation - Norwich
Despite having one of the best English forwards of last season in Grant Holt and a likeable new manager in Chris Hughton, I think they will suffer from second season syndrome. They haven't bought enough quality this summer and their star man Holt might have been distracted by Everton's long summer pursuit.

Relegation- Southampton
They have a striker in Rickie Lambert who have topped the chart in every English league division bar the Premiership and was chased by a lot of mid-table premier league teams. They also bought a future star in Gaston Ramirez who am sure will leave the saints if he shines. The fans will try their best to back the team but its all about the players and I think they will come short.

SabiBoi's Predictions
There are probably too many things to consider when picking out overall winners for the football league.History, form and of course class of the various teams. As much as its a step by step situation, taking it as the games go by but as we know its a marathon not a sprint. And we have watched way too much football to know how you start doesn't really mean that's how you would finish and vice-versa.

Chelsea have started really well and look a new side with free flowing football and still maintain  that tough grind about them, plus some dives but they still lack a real threat as their main man upfront is still not as sharp as he used to be.Man city have the most complete squad in the league, boasting of 2 internationals for each position, not playing well at the moment but still not loosing games which is a sign of a champion team in the making.Man United as we all know picks up after Christmas but may be too late especially if the injuries continue and Sir Alex doesn't get a constant first 11.And the great Arsenal...lets just say, they will always stand a chance and have a big chance this season compared to the last 2 seasons. These 4 teams will definitely make up the top 4 at the end of the season but if i must pick now (which i must)-

League Champions-Chelsea(don't write of Man United)

Runners up-Man city,Man united and arsenal

Capital One League Cup-Arsenal-i just feel the draws will favor them and they will stand a better chance getting to the final.as long as they don't play Birmingham

Fa Cup-Man City/Man United-as long as they don't play each other till the final.

Relegation..

Southampton-good team but concede to many goals and the league looks like a big step up for them.

Norwich-don't prob have the same team as last season but the unknown factor has been taken of the table as they are well known now.always tougher to stay after your first season and they don't have as much quality to keep them up.

Wigan-i think roberto martinez luck will run out.should have left when he had the chance.

Ekanem's Predictions
premier league winners: manchester city- although theyve had a stuttering start,i believe the sky blues have the strength in depth required to cross over the finish line.they now have the experience of winning the championship ,and i think that will stand them in good stead....albeit narrowly.

runners up: ill take a bold prediction and go for arsenal.i agree itsa wierd choice but i think they probably have the best squad in the league; and i would have tipped them for the title before the weekends match against chelsea.i still think they lack a bit in the winning mentality department.

third place: ill go for manchester united because of their experience in staying on top of championships, and being consistent.they have serious issues in defence and midfield;and i think it would work against them through the course of the season.

fourth place: it would be chelsea for me.i realise this would be many peoples first choice considering their early season form.i just think they have too many unknown quantities in their team, who would be found out as the season wears out.
