What is Success??
I have always had difficulty in sitting down at one spot,I think there are too many interesting things to be seen or done.I think there is that activity I can create to make time pass by quicker and of course make things more interesting. When I was younger,it was said I wasn't focused and lacked patience, now that am a bit older,I'll just say I get bored easily. Every now and then at some social setting, I sit down and listen to a couple of conversations at the same time,I am not Super Ted, Sherlock Holmes or Jason Bourne but my pursuit of non-boredom has made me try to create activities in my head. When all else fails, I just sleep.

Happy belated Easter everybody and my pursuit of non-boredum had nothing to do with my silence here, let's just say I was network unavailable,I'll explain to you over a pint. Another way to entertainment myself is ask questions that will stir up controversy or arguements.I don't always argue to win but to learn and entertain myself. So Easter eve,I was at a friends house,a few of us just having food and a few britney spears(beers) and I felt I needed to liven things up,so I asked..as a football manager,is success directly proportional to the amount of trophies u have won?and instantly replies I got were yes and then I asked,so managers like David Moyes, Martin O'neill and Harry Redknapp are not successful? and it got interesting...
Harry Redknapp has one major trophy to his name, winning the fa cup with Portsmouth,he has contributed to clubs over the years, saving Portsmouth from relegation, winning an fa cup with them, taking Tottenham to their first champions league but with just one trophy, people say he isn't successful. But a trophy does show success right?
David Moyes has been the Everton manager for over 11 years,he has kept them in the premier league with limited budget,re-inventing his team year after year and has appeared in an fa cup final but with no trophy to his name.....is he not to be classed a successful manager ?
Martin O'niell, won the Scottish league twice and before that, led Leicester city in the premier league.he took time off football to look after his ill wife but came back as manager of Aston Villa, finishing 5th,4th and 5th again in the premier league. He became the manager of Sunderland and led them out of the relegation zone.they are in the relegation battle this season however before the question could be asked if he was successful,it was announced on tv that martin O'niell had been sacked as manager of Sunderland....so that made it even more interesting...

If I continue with how that conversation went on,you will have muscles removed from eyes for staring at the screen for too long,so you tell me,should success be granted to only the Fergusons, Mourinhos and others?should trophies be the si unit for success? Alex MacLeish that won the carling cup with Birmingham be classed in the same circle as Michael Landrup who just won it with Swansea Does the depth of the team matter,is Mancini successful with Man City ? It now becomes a matter of opinion...what do you class as successful?
I am guessing success will differ with people just like their opinions but having an opinion doesn't count if it does not make logical sense.....anyways as the conversation was getting even deeper and people started swearing and getting a bit angry,I raised another question...asking if success in life is directly proportional to the amount of money you have in the bank?......imagine how that turned out...
In more words to come..Sabi Boi.
