Believe or Give Up

Ozil
Ozil has endured a very difficult run as a gunner. His head nearly fell off during Arsenals loss to Bayern as he kept shaking it in regret over the missed penalty. The question now is, should the arsenal fans keep faith with the German or just give up.

Mesut began his career in London with a bang. He was picking up assists like a drunk driver picks up speeding tickets on a ‘good’ night. He was scoring too… but suddenly the form dimmed. He crowned his frustrating season so far with the display against Bayern.

Ozil might not be as unrelenting as Flamini but he knows how to part the red sea with his passes and creative play. If there is one player that needs a lot of encouragement right now from the fans its OZIL because he has the quality to deliver a piece of silverware to arsenal’s cockroach and cobweb ridden trophy cabinet.

Rooney
Rooooooooney! Rooooooooney! Rooooooooney! will be heard at the Theatre of Dreams at least for the next four years. The forward just penned a  £300,000  a WEEK! deal. For a player who has expressed his desire to leave the club twice to commit to see off his career there is interesting. Well, of course with the right amount of zeros behind the right number commitments could change.
However, Rooney’s change of heart could also be attributed to the fact that Moyes has continuously played Rooney at his preferred No. 10 role. But with players like Juan Mata, Kagawa, Januzaj and even Van persie all capable of playing the same role how long will that preference last without results?

Furthermore, considering the fact that Man. Utd haven’t had the best of  seasons, Rooney’s 9  goals and 9 assists is good but is it worth  £62m over four years? Others might point to his work rate, long contribution to the club and his ability to produce the extraordinary when needed but even at that you cannot buy a car at its old price simply because it used to be great.
The question still remains should the fans continue believing?

Giroud

First things first, Giroud owes all Arsenal fans and I. Okay!!! Lemme explain… He owes Arsenal fans after all the faith they had in him to fill Robin Van persie’s shoes he has failed to do that. He owes me too because in an attempt to score the goal that Giroud missed I broke my glass table. But look at the bright side I scored he didn’t.

Giroud has been the subject of a lot of heated arguments that I have had lately. First the fact that he seems to have mastered the art of shooting around the post. If there is one player that deserves a lot of blame for Arsenals mishap its Giroud. With the amount of chances he misses per game you wonder if other premier league clubs have him on payroll.

Finally, not forgetting Oliviers recent twitter confessions. That one I can’t hold him entirely responsible, I mean have you seen the pics of the model????? O’Lawd!!!  At least he didn’t commit ‘adultery’. Probably arsenal should put up pictures of beautiful models behind their opponents net then may be Giroud would rediscover his ‘shooting boots’.
